they will. You just need to read the labels and find one that is close in content. I use to buy mine from Tractor Supply. Try and find one with about 15-16% protien. The few years I could afford to feed it I saw an improvement in horn quality those few years.

Range cubes are used to feed goats, sheep, and cattle to supplement during droughts and winter when there is little to no browse/grass for them to eat......

Range cubes are what ranchers feed their cattle, goats or sheep, during the winter for additional protein. They range from 20 to 38 percent protein. Deer need a 1/2 inch pellet or less if you can find them.

I will be adding molasses and peanut butter on top of them to see if it makes the deer a little more interested in them. I will be using the smaller size range cubes. I will be starting putting it all out this weekend and I will update how it goes. If anyone has tried anything like this, how did it go? What did you add?

you might try and find a creep feed that is a bigger pellet. it is smaller than a range cube, but not small like rabbit food.

Some feed stores will carry 3/8" cubes.

Can you pour range cubes and protein on the ground if you don't have a feeder. Will the deer eat it if it gets wet?

probably will not eat it if it gets wet.
