    Watch closely at the tyeing. Simple overhand knot. They do not fall. We can hang 2 to 3 hundred links at a lb a piece and not have a one on the ground the next morning(or maybe 1). In the old days when we square knotted them, we always had quite a few on the grond

      Also noticed the tape on the fingers. Figured out that trick first time out after only 5 minutes of tying.

        We make several hundred pounds of sausage every January. On the second time through the grinder we put the sasage tube on the front of the grinder and go right into the casing. Saved lots of time and shoots it out as fast as you can put it in the grinder. Then we cut, pinch and twist the links and ready to hang. Really pretty simple.
