Road conditions around Abilene?

Morning Guys... Can we get a Road condition update for the Abilene area... I am suppose to be heading to Fort Stockton today for a weekend at the company lease..

I live in Bangs and roads are bad. I heard on news last night that hwy. 84 is shutdown from Lawn to Coleman. Roads have only got worse since then. I would tell everyone to stay put.

Bad, but getting better. Sun is out, so they're starting to melt. IF the sun stays out all day, they should be passable this afternoon. There will probably be melted tracks in most places at least. I don't expect them to be completely clear until this weekend.

Will refreeze tonite, if it melts enough to do any good. Hwy 83/84 is solid sheet of ice, no maintenance on it till you get to hospital in Abilene.

I don't think he was very happy about it, but he is spending the weekend in Abilene instead of Gtown.
