Went fishing om Lake tawakonni sunday, one of my friends caught a 48 and a 32lb blue cat on rod and reel. I had one up and nearly in the boat that would have been between 30-40 lbs, got into motor and snappd the line. Caught 2 more dink channel cats and it was like a switch was threw, they quit biting.
Dang goodtime, thanks David Hanson for hooking us up!

Will do, Tad. Water temps are hovering around 60 right now, once it stays consistanly in the 70s the reds will be coming around. Then I can wash all that stinky ole chum off my boat and get my downriggers going!
Brandon, give me a call and bring your daughter down here. I'll bait your hook and take your fish off so you don't have to touch em! She'd love it, you catch one every couple of minutes.

Lameduck, I clean all the fish for people. After years, and NO telling how many 1000s of fish, you get pretty quick at it.
My personal boat record was a group from Kansas last year. They caught 165 cats and they were cleaned and bagged in an hour and 20 minutes.
We had an assembly line going! One guy was pushing fish to me, I was running the fillet knife, I would pass the fillets to another guy and he would wash them and pass them off to another guy that was bagging.
And we didn't catch all the cats that were there that day, they were still biting when we left, they were just tired of catching them and the cooler was running over and all their beer was gone!
