Do you have an exotic pet? What is the weirdest pet you've ever had? Have?

When I was younger we had a pet crow and a pet javelina. They both were pretty cool. The crow would fly down and land on the javelina's back and just sit there. They were buds. Years later we gave the javelina to Texas Safari because she kept getting out of her pen. We were afraid someone would shoot her.

I had an armadillo named tank, a possum who was not friendly, and just about every indigenous snake to texas at one time or another.

Racoons , squirles,Mule deer & white tail fawns, a Magpie . I had alot of those as a kid.

We had a Pocket Parrot for several years when we first got married. Right now my sons have a Bearded Dragon Lizard named Comet. Kind of like a Horny Toad with a longer tail. VERY COOL PETS!

When I was about 12 I caught a small tarantula on a camping trip. I brought him home and kept him in a terrarium and fed him till he got huge. I would amuse my friends and scare my sisters by letting him crawl all over me. Eventually he got loose in the house and I didn't find him for a couple of days. That was the final straw - my Mom was so creeped out she made me return him to the wild...

Nothing too exotic. Orphaned coons, cottontail and a WT fawn found hung in a fence. Deer lived in a pen for 6 months, then released into the pasture. She hung around for a couple years, attracting some bucks during the rut.

Spider monkey, hedgehogs and sugar gliders. Don't have any of them anymore. Exotics are tough to keep.

Coons, opossums, snakes of all sorts, turtles, fresh and saltwater fish setups, squirrels, peacock, geese, ducks and used to raise ringneck dove for sales. My favorites were a couple of crows that I hand raised, but the chickens and guineas tasted the best!

Burmeese python, red tailed boa. My python weighed 80#. the boa went everywhere with me.

I have owned several reptiles over the years. Right now just one. Steve the snake. An amelanistic corn snake. he is orange. I'll see if I can find a pic.

I also have an amelanistic corn, his name is phish. I got him my sophmore year of college when he was a hatchling, he's dang near 5 ft now.

Mom had a pet squirrel as a kid. I had a pet coon as a young teen. My uncles father in law had a bobcat yrs ago from what I hear-

I had a water dragon (ate rats), Iguana, Ball Python & 3 wives (two of them were mean and nasty).
