    Any cool ceiling ideas?

The foam tiles in our spare bedroom are drooping and looking like crap. Interested in doing something cool with the ceiling. We've got a rustic/country them for most of the house. Any ideas for a new ceiling?

I like hammered tin ceiling tiles. They are pretty easy to install and come in all kinds of patterns - should go well with your rustic theme.

I know it sounds strange but I would install laminate wood floooring to the ceiling.

I saw two different ideas this week. One was colored roof metal turned upside down with the color side to the room.

The second was tounge & groove flooring. One room had it painted one was natural

My friends cabin has rusted tin from an old building. Looks good, but a 8' ceiling might be to low for it.

I have used old fence boards (weathered cedar) on several projects where the client wanted a "rustic" look.

Our summer rental has this type ceiling at 8 foot and it is pretty cool looking.

I really like an idea we saw in a mexican food restaurant here in frisco.... old barn wood... They took different colored...weathered wood strips and put it on the ceiling. Looked amazing...thinking about doing that in my old house somewhere. maybe the kitchen.

Put bead board on our kitchen ceiling, but the actual tongue and groove. Not the cheap 4x8 sheets. Looks good in a country style home.

My search for pics has come up empty. Here is a link to the ones at Home Depot.
