! by 6 pine Vgroove tongue and groove looks very nice stained or painted. We r installing it in a house on a project now. It runs about seven bucks for a 16 foot board. Wish I had a pic to post

We put new tin trimmed with cedar on our patio and it looks great! I wouldnt be afraid to do it inside.

Yeah, real hammered tin is expensive. Several companies make what they call "faux tin ceiling tiles" out of aluminum made to look like tin and they are cheaper - either glue-up or drop-in.

Saw some of these on the HD and Lowes sites as well. The ones in the summer rental are 2x4 sheets that are stapled up. The owners found them on sale. The rest of the house has 4x8 sheets of look alike 105 siding on the walls and ceilings.
Old barn tin looks cool too.

We were gonna do the hammered tin, but it wasnt expensive. We bought the kind that looks like large cinder blaocks that is usually used for skirting a mobile home. Just opted to go a different route.

On the River in Old Freeport had it. It looked pretty sweet! They had painted theirs.
