anyone ever used them? they have classes all around texas and seem to be pretty good. i really dont think i will sit down and do an online course. if i drive in to houston and go to this class i will knock the whole thing out in one day. im just trying to make sure its legit and worth my time. thanks

online is the only way to go. can log in and out and break-up the course into manageable sections and not have to sit for so long....

I did comedy and although it's not really very funny to me it's way better than online. I knocked it out in one day and was done. I'm behind a computer enough as it is much less adding another eight hours for this. JMO

I don't know, if you're "driving in" from College Station (whoop! ) the online or video course might be a better use of your time.

Just finished up an online course today with defensivedriving.com.

Boring as all get out, but that's my punishment for speeding which I accept as it seems I do exceed the limit quite often and got my first ticket since 2002.

I did the online course from them and it wasnt funny but it was like a video so it wasnt to bad. It was def. cheaper and also nice being able to log in and out and do it on your own time

I have done both, about 9 and 7 years ago. The comedy defensive can be enjoyable, it depends o nthe comedian teaching it, much like going to a comedy club. Not every comedian is funny to me. The next time the online version was kind of new and was more convenient for me becasu I could do an hour or two each night.

ive never done dd before and i kinda have adhd too. im afraid if i do an online deal, i either wont be able to sit down and focus on it, or ill take my meds and get way too **** and take notes on everything. then a 6 hour online course turns into a 9 or 10 our deal. if i go to this class in houston, its 10-4 and done, come back home and dont ever think about it again. if i do the class will it still stay off my record? can i still get the insurance discount, or will my insurance not even go up since it doesn't go on my record?

I did the Comedy DD once and it was fun or at least a lot better than setting in from of a computer for several hours.

I did the the DD driving class with them and the guy they had teaching it here in Tyler was awful. I learned NOTHING and he wasn't very funny.

i think im not leaning towards the online class. the comedy class will be like $70 once i include gas going to and from houston whereas the online class is $25 flat.

is it possible to fail these online deals? as long as im awake and paying attention during the online thing, i should be ok right? i just really dont want to take an online class then fail it.

I did the class thing, was BORED out of my mind, but it was over & done in one day. I can play on the computer for a while but it gets old, wouldn't want to sit & watch for hours.

I average one every coupla years. Not proud of it, I just have a lead foot and twitchy wrist.

IMHO, it's as broad as it is long. But at least with online, it is possible to do other things while it's playing. Most, but not all, answers are common sense. I tidied up my computer desk while listening to it last time, and paid more attention when stats are being talked about.
