Chum for catfish question

Question for experienced milo sourers.....I checked a five gallon bucket of soured maize I've had since last spring....covered with lid but went through the summer heat and the winter up till now. The top inch or so of the milo was black, down under it still had that orange look. The black stuff didn't smell soured....it smelled like a rotted animal. I stirred it all up and it seems ok. Is this stuff still good?

Are you serious? It's soured that means you were waiting for it to go bad! Sometimes you city boys make me wonder.

keep it simple - canned dog food with holes punched in top and bottom

works like a charm

Yup! That is the one that is the easiest (and least STINKY!).
