The problem with these websites is your competing with thousands of other hunters who are looking at the same posting. If a good one pops up you'd better jump on it fast!

Well you are actually in North Texas being in Dallas. The mulies will be panhandle and west Texas. Exotics are starting to make thier way south too. I also look based on doe season. Alot of north Texas and east Texas counties only allow doe during archery and doe days over Thanksgiving weekend.

Looks like Leasehunter.com has improved a lot since this posting was started, but all these lease finding sites are full of day hunt offers (often misplaced or disguised as real leases). I subscribed to leasefinder.com and texasleaseconnection.com, but frankly, I'm not hopeful of finding something good without being "out-bid" by someone.

              hunting lease websites

I've used deertexas. Scott used to post here a lot but don't see him any more. I think the best way is word of mouth. Look here but also get out there and look. Find the area you want to hunt and just start talking to folks. I once got on some property just by catching some guys coming out of a gate

I used leashunter and found a lease in a week. Just cancel the subscription when you find one. It was only like 10 dollars a month I think. like I said though I only needed it for a week.

I'm still here and hard at work.

It's slow right now for new leases as the 2012/2013 hunting season is finally starting to wrap up. New lease ads will be coming soon. Meanwhile, you can monitor everything that has been addded at DeerTexas.com in the last 30 days without paying. As always, I offer a money back guarantee. Good hunting to all.

Good to hear from ya Scott.

Of all websites I believe deertexas is the best. They do a good job of deleting ones that have been leased and email you when new ones post

I use Outfitter in west Texas by the name of Mike Marbach with COA outfitters, not only does he set up hunts, he has many connections with Ranch owners and propertys to lease in south to north Texas, extremely nice guy that cares very much about his hunters and property owners, once you email him he will keep you posted with good propertys for lease or needing members.

                          Hope it works out.

Biggest problem on these sites is all the day hunts posing as real leases. I'm having more success getting as local as possible to the lease. Word of mouth, friends, colleagues.. that sort of thing.
