I was curious also, have heard good and bad about deertexas, so scared with all the scans I hear of people having gone through.

Signed up for leasehunter myself and won't be renewing next month. I haven't found anything even close to reasonable on there and the website is SUPER slow. So slow that I usually give up searching cause I get tired of waiting on the pages to load.

I agree, leasehunter has been extremely slow here lately. Not to mention I haven't seen much on there but they are starting to post a few more. I haven't used deertexas yet but was thinking about it. I do have texasleaseconnection and they pretty much post the same things as leasehunter.

I didn't think it would be so hard finding a good lease, makes me wonder why I got off my old one...should've have just dealt with all the bickering that was going on and made the best of it.

Not much going on with Deer Texas either. Called a couple of people and the ads were old and the spots filled.

Not many new postings on any of them right but it will pickup spring and summer. Leasehunter and Deertexas seem to be the best. Leasehunter is slow right now. Deertexas does a good job of trying to weed out the crooks and they are also upgrading their site and that should be up shortly.

Considering the money spent on a lease, corn and GAS, these sites are not to bad a cost.

I agree it is hard to find a good lease and putting up with a few problems may be worth it. I want to get a new lease but I know I cant do much better so I just put up with everything.

When you find an old one, email Scott will get them off. You will be doing other hunters and the landowners a favor

Check with the county seats in the counties that you are interested in. Also check the classifieds in the local papers for available leases. I never had any luck with those website deals.

What do you want to know about leases? I can probably answer some questions and others can answer other questions.

There are guys right here from all over the state. Ask any question and someone will respond in no time. Usually you get more than one and the bickering begins. Quite entertaining
