muzzy scare me!!!! heard more horror stories than I care to think about..About lost deer with a muzzy broadhead...I would never shoot them..

No. Couldn't even tell it was there until I cut down the spine to remove the back strap.

Wow. Where was the deer hit (with the arrow)? Bad shot?

It was hit right below the spine and above the top of the rib cage in that no kill zone just above and back of the left shoulder (looks like she dropped when they shot). went through left back strap and lodged in the middle of the right one.

last year was the first year I deer hunted my dads farm land in KS and this is what happened on opening weekend of rifle season.. 2 of the 3 deer we took had broken off arrows in them. It was wild enough finding one!

We had the same thing happen this year at our lease but with a hog. I shot the hog last year with my bow and someone shot the hog this year with a rifle and the processor found my arrow and shaft inside the hog. Animals are tough. Makes for a great story.
