Guys, once and for all, get your CHL, we should by our 2nd ammendment be able to carry when and where we please, but we unfortunately live in a different world than our founding fathers had imagined, that being my opinion get the CHL, and I too support open carry although I would conceal most all the time, the reason I support open carry is two fold, one is it is our right, period, the second is when I conceal it is easier and more comfortable to carry OWB and if it accidently shows it would be acceptable. We have to stand up for our rights, we have to defend our families and country,we must not be taken over by dictators who would have you live on your knees, I would rather die on my feet!! Anyone carry with your kids around? I have a three year old that is constantly wrestling and wanting to roughhouse with me. That's probably my biggest hold up from getting it right now. On the one hand I want to have it to protect my family on the other I worry about an accident happening because he and I are messing around.Comment

Texasrig, I dont have children around the house but let me tell you that carrying does change how you need to think and act in different situations, when playing with your kids put it in a safe place that is quickly accessible to you, there are many holsters that have very good retention as well, I always carry with one hot in the barrel, but if you are wrestling around take that one out. Just think ahead and get your CHL, your family depends on you, God Bless!Comment
