Here I am sitting in the stand this morning hog hunting before I leave for work. The stand I am sitting in has not seen a deer since bow season. Well this morning like they knew I couldn't shoot them 3 does and 2 shooter bucks show up. Do they know season is over or what?

Something i think they read the pamphlet and/or also check the parking spots at the lease on a daily basis. I didn't see a single doe during doe season but you would know the weekend after doe season i was covered up with them. I feel your pain brother.

Oh they know my friend, they must know. A friend invited me to take a DOE ONLY on his lease a couple weeks ago. On a ranch normally crawling with does, the only deer I saw was a nice mature 10 point - who posed broadside like a 3D target 18 yards away and ate my hand-thrown corn for 10 minutes. Not only was it the only buck I've seen this season but when I described it to my buddy he said they've been hunting it for two years but no one had ever seen it on the hoof - only in TC pics.
