Skeeter, I am going to suggest that you fly any airlines but South African Airways on this trip. I could go into a long list of nightmares we had on our trip over and back this past Sept. I will never fly them again.

Guys, just remember that you are limited only by the size of your pocket book on a trip to South Africa. Daily fees plus a trophy fee on each animal or package deals between you and the PH so you can spen a little or spend a lot. Believe me you will not regret a trip to South Africa and you will want to return more than once.

that aint no lie! I thought when I went in 2008, that would be my once in a lifetime trip. Well, I have been plannin on goin back even b4 we got home! And, Lord willing, I will go at least once more after our 2011 hunt. I told my son I would take him to South Africa for his graduation present. But, I got 8 years to save up for that trip!

Yeah, I havent heard very many good things in regards to SAA. We were bumped from our flight leaving RSA and got stuck on SAA. I wasnt impressed to say the least.

I have enough air miles for about 3/4 of an international ticket thru Continental. Still got plenty of time to check around.

That sounds like a blast! Maybe one day my hunting budget will allow me a trip like that.
