Im here enjoying christmas at work . (not enjoying being here ) but im here . My day started out crappy and is still going crappy . It all started about 2:30 am when i got called out to my plant because of a freeze up.
Hope everyone esle is haveing a good christmas.

I volunteered to work today so the other guy could spend a Christmas at home. Besides I dont have the kids this year and the moneys's good too!

I usually get to work most holidays as I am low on seniority, but our company has made it a rule if you are scheduled off Christmas Eve and Christmas day, you are off. High seniority guys are not allowed to take vacation to get Christmas off if they are scheduled to work. I am lucky enough to be off Christmas Day this year (worked yesterday by choice)

With that being said, I dont have a problem working holidays. Yep, it sux. But there are many police, fire, EMS and military folks that are at work keeping us safe. They are away from their families as well. If they can do it, I can do it with no complaints. And to them I say many thanks. Our family sends our sincere warm wishes and gratitiude!

Nope, when we got the tractor (used) from the JD house, the hose from the air filter to the intake turbine was not connected for some reason. We think sabatoge...but any way I ran it like that for about 100 hours or so and there was a ton of dust sucked straight into the motor. Wore out the piston sleeves and the pistons causing lots of blow-by. Bad deal and I must of had my eyes closed because I never noticed the black staining there on the loader.

$2,800 later it was good as new.

Same here!! Headed to the lease Tuesday when I get off!! Somebody has to keep all of these chemicals flowing through the pipes. Thank you to all you guys and gals keeping our streets safe and saving lives and to our service men. Hope everyone has a merry Christmas and a blessed new year!!!
