Who else is working Christmas day?

Man what happened to the good ole days when everything shut down at christmas. I remember when all the stores were closed and christmas meant somthing to people. I guess its not politicaly correct to treat the birth of christ as a holiday. What has this country become?

i agree with for the most part..but some services still need to be running..this is the first Christmas i have had off in 8yrs..but my brethren are trying to keep the lights on.. Merry Christmas everyone.

Got on shift at 7am and here until 3 today. Really miss seeing my kids face when they saw all the presents under the tree this morning. I'm grateful that they are patient enough to wait till I get home to open presents. Merry Christmas to all!!

Spent many Christmas' at the fire station, and before that at various Ambulance stations. Now its Christmas in the Gulf.

Had a tough decision to make, cover a shift or go spend day at inlaws. So I chose work. Got kiddo up this morning at 5:20 and let her open her gifts. We are heading off hunting for a few days after I get off at 7. Merry Xmas everyone and be safe while at work.

Worked yesterday and go back tomorrow. We made 4 boxes, a pin, and a stuck elevator last night between 8pm and 4am. I'm dragging arse. But on the bright side, A shift old-head relieved me at 5:30 this morning so I could get home in time to see my kiddos run into the living room for Santa.
