Now you're making sense. Keep the gun, even if it's not the best one ever made. Every time you look at it you'll get a nice warm feeling. I regret selling my first rifle. I regret it a lot.

No matter the caliber everyone I ever shot was a tack driver, a small tack driver

I still have two of them. It was my first and only deer rifle.

Still wish I had my Remington Mohawk 600 .308 my Dad gave me as my first rifle....I hope the pawn shop the thieves sold it to sold it to somebody that appreciated it as much as I would have.

I just purchased a Mohawk 6mm for $300 for my 4 year old son. Pretty stoked about the deal and the gun.

Recently bought a used one for my 13yr old son for christmas. I replaced the recoil pad with a limbsaver and added raised rings and a Tasco World class to it. i hope he has as much luck as you all did. i have ran some rounds thru it and it is a neat little gun.

The Grandson loves the one my wife passed to him last Christmas. It sure has taken a ton of animals.

I've got one in a .222. How do I find out if it has a recall on it? I've thought about having it bored out to a .223, but I don't think it would be worth anything to any one else except me.

man you guys are killing me with this post..
my dad bought me a mohawk 600 in 243 and had the stock cut down for me.
killed my first deer with it and several more after that.

in hindsight, a trigger job would have been awesome on that.
i really loved that gun and in high school it became an easy carry brush gun.

unfortunately some slime ball stole it from our house along with some other firearms..
it has been 20 years and it still makes me sad.

It looks like thieves like the Mohawk 600 as much as we do. KAT
