Thank you for the post... one can never be "over-reminded" of the "presents" in our lives that we take for granted... Prayers for the family of the little lady and for her friends. Hugs. Angie

I agree with you 100% and will pray for that family.

I noticed my anger over bad hunts and such, buck fever was tempered this year. I was thinking it might be the loss of a very good friend of mine to cancer . . . . he was 38 and left four kids and a wife behind. He was one of the very best people I knew.

Life is too short to get angry over things like a messed up hunt, we should smell the air, enjoy the time we have and thank/praise God daily.

Had the same realization last year, this year was much more enjoyable. Prayers sent for the Smith family and the loss of their daughter.

I hear you. I will not go hunting unless my wife is going with me. Quite a few years ago, we were in danger of divorce and it is because we had activities that we participated in seperately. Now we do everything together and our relationship is stronger and we share all the good times and not just the bad. Yes that means I have to watch chick flicks sometimes but it also means she goes hunting with me.....

We will be praying for the girls family. May the Lord comfort them in this time of loss.

Good post. A lot of us have come to that realization...some quicker than others. Prayers for the family.
