Everything. Jeans, shirts, overalls, suits and dress shirts. They last longer and look better. Switched from the stranglers to 20x years ago. Finally gave them to my nephew to strut around in.
My husband taught me early on that before I could use an I-pod, I-phone or I-pad, I had to be proficient with an I-ron (spray starch on his jeans).

Agreed. Washing is what ruins jeans. I wear mine a minimum of 2 weeks between washings as long as I don't get mud on them or sweat too much. Sometimes up to a month. The longer they go without washing, the more comfortable they get. I can typically get close to 2 years of use out of a single pair wearing them almost every day.
It’s official: you can stop washing your jeans. And that’s a direct suggestion from Levi Strauss & Co. CEO, Chip Bergh, who took part in an insightful discussion at Fortune’s Brainstorm Green conference yesterday in Laguna Niguel, California. Here at LS&Co., we’re committed to producing sustainable clothing above all else—and Chip Bergh gave the audience…
I actually cut down on washing my jeans after read that.. Now the only jeans I wear are a pair or Petrol and a pair of Prana Bryons. I wash them maybe once every 5-7 days and they are holding up way better than the I washed jeans every day.
Never have starched my jeans. Looks gay, maybe even a little urban cowboyish! Lol.......kidding. I let people be people. Makes no difference to me. They just look uncomfortable!
Jeans don't last long enough any more to warrant it, imo. I try to keep 1 or 2 pairs starched in the closet......in case I have to go somehere "fancy", cuz I don't do slacks unless someone dies.
Same here. One pair for dress. Seems like the last two or three years the starch weaken the fabric or something. 50 or sixty bucks for a pair of cinch that last 6 months with heavy starch don't cut it no more.
