Who here sends their jeans to get starched?

I have been sending my jeans to the cleaners to get starched for some time but not paid much attention to the bill. I am being charged $3.99 per pair.

How much do you pay and where is it. I need to find a chepaer place or quit it all together and just buy a new pair of jeans every two months or so for that kind of money.

I decided a couple of years back that the price for cleaners/starch was just too much. I haven't really missed it.

I used to. Stopped a few years ago when I calculated how much it was costing per month.

I quit doing it a few years ago too, only on a rare occasion. In my old age I like my clothes soft and squishy ... like me

                This is what I do.

But a couple of times a year when we're in Houston visiting my parents I will bring everything I need "laundered" to a cleaner on the corner of Jones Rd. & Cypress N. Houston. It's been a year or so since I brought anything down there, but they are cheap. Or at least they were.

At first I thought this thread was a joke, sadly I see it is not. I bet John Wayne did not starch his.

I have mine starched at the cleaners. I get to write it off on my taxes since it's for work

you only get your clothes washed a couple times a year?

I know the cleaners you are talkin about. Aint never took anything there, but I know where it is.

I take my dress jeans to the cleaners. I dont get my everyday jeans starched.

Yep that's pretty high, sounds like you're using a chain cleaner. Find a mom and pop shop somewhere. I pay 2.75 a pair and get a small discount when I bring more than 5 pair in at a time. I even forgot my wallet one time, and they gave me my clothes anyway. I made it up to them on my next visit.
