Did I Screw Up?

That1st buck is the best hes ever going to get.He MIGHT get better if he has plenty of water and protein.Buck might not be a resident buck,he could be a satellite buck.I hunt on 640 acres in S.Texas next to a 5000 acre ranch that is not hunted.Its low fence.I've let bucks walk like that in the past.They were never seen again.

I think that first one is older than you think. Either way, a pretty nice deer for the area.

first buck only looks 3.5 to me....you probably did the right thing in my opinion.
