We are all up and loaded. 33 degrees. 30 minute drive to base cam, where two of the group have a travel trailer. First morning, I will hunt on the ground. Will set up stand around lunch.

Is that all? It's 36 where I am in Texas. Good luck Gary!

In stand. Weather is awesome and I am good and comfortable. Deer was by my stand when I arrived. Another walked behind me, but no sighting. Have gun and bow in ground blind. Sitting on a heavy trail with rub line.

Four Canadians in the group. Ryan is the one who invited me along on this annual hunt. He is joined by his first cousin (Kevin) and two buddies (Todd and Jeff). Kevin sitting on a beaver dam and has already seen a good buck. Haven't confirmed whu he didn't shoot.
