I carry an expandable just for Turkeys. I have shot several with a fixed head and it just blows through them and they run or fly off. I switched to a NAP Shockwave 125 grain and have had great luck so far.

Just a thought...carry an expandable just for the turkeys.

To me Turks are the hardest thing to get with a bow. Pop up made it a TON easier to do. I got my first by the grace of God. I was sitting on the edge of a wide open field under a huisache tree basically wide open and called in my biggest gobbler ever to 10 yds and put it in his hips..he still ran about 70 yds!
