Tried this on my family place in Brown co. I bought 6 jars of PB at Walmart and put them out. I cut the bottoms half out and screwed them to trees about 3 feet off the ground. I couldn't tell anything ever touched those jars. I finally took them down. Maybe they prefer Peter Pan?

Must be the jelly they don't like then

I have done the Peanut butter and it takes about a day and the jar would be empty. I just wire it to a small tree about 4 ft high and open the lid.

                          I used creamy.

I put 2 jars out with the lid to tree method about 20 yarsd apart. They only hit the one jar but they would finish it in about 5 days.

I am going to put a cam up, I guess.

I have seen it used and it did work but maybe some deer are more demanding than others or just not as hungry. Where I saw it used, you could take the jar down and put it straight in the recycle bin, cause it was spotless! May not work where they are being fed protein already but it does work in some places. It is easy to try tho!

My granddad told me that as well Itried it out a couple of years ago and every time I would go back out it would be cleaned out didnt have a trailcamera back then so no pics. I will say that I had a some rather fat and sassy squirells that year too.
