I was wondering the same thing. I found a great spot for one this weekend and plan on setting it sat am and hunting it later that day.

I have set up in the middle of a 4 way sendero and had deer walk within 10 feet of an unbrush blind I had just put up.

I can only speak for east Texas. I have hunted a lot of public lands. If you can't get it setup to kill a deer that day, you might as well go home.

If you brush it up good in spot like a oak or mesquite mott that has heavy cover in it all ready you should be all right. But if you plan on sticking in the wide open and covering it with brush I would give it a few days. Try and set it in the heaviest of cover to help conceal it and cover it up completely with brush and I mean completely and you should be all right.

Same day. Cover your pop-up with some 3D netting before you brush it in. Stuff makes a pop-up dissapear.

I replaced a carpet blind with a popup last weekend. The popup was in place about noon. I killed doe at 720pm the same night out of that blind. It's only minimally brushed in.

Was that at bow pipe line?
