I took my deer about 4 days to start showing back up on camera after setting mine up.

I did both right away and waited a few days.First time was when I set up a pop-up 3 days before opening day,on opening day had a hog show up before daylight. The second time in that same pop-up was a week later the following saturday had does show up before daylight and right after feeder went off. This past saturday I setup the pop-up at a new location and hopped right in and 30 mins. later i smoked my fisrt bow kill.

Read J-Bone's write up about the 181 he killed.

same day if you hide it well. if it is not hidden well I would give it a couple of days.

East Texas, brushed in good, right away. West Texas, it takes them a few days to get used to

This. If it's well-hidden you shouldn't have much of a problem, even if it's only a few hours after setting it up.

I put mine out sept. 12,, had tons of deer showing at both feeding times, now I don't have squat showing up... getting ready to remove the blind... but we are not seeing deer anywhere around our property right now, so it might just be a coincidence

I replaced a carpet blind with a popup last weekend. The popup was in place about noon. I killed doe at 720pm the same night out of that blind. It's only minimally brushed in.

I waited a week on mine just to give the deer time to get used to it...but I have pics of them on the trail cam coming in that same night so I guess I could've hunted it same day...

Okay, great feedback. Plan on moving mine Friday morning and then hunting it Saturday morning. Will ensure it is brushed in well.
