Best burgers in Texas....

Chester's Hamburgers in San Antonio is my fav. The green chile burger is AWESOME. Chris Madrids is a close 2nd. Longhorn is good but the place is filthy so I refuse to eat there anymore.

Sky Ranch, in Luzerne Michigan gets my nod. Awesome burgers and steaks.
But mainly because if I'm there, I'm close to my AuSable River. Which means, I'll be fly fishing for trophy BROWN TROUT till about midnite. God I love the HEX Hatch.

X2 ... The only thing the river(barf) pub has going is the bun..and they stole that from the Tap Room. I have dreams about a Queso burger and cold beer at the Tap!

The Jalapeno Cheddar Burger ugh that makes me hungry and I am full right now lol

believe it or not the Ancho Grill in the Sac n Pacs in San Marcos have amazing hamburgers also. I always get the Volcano Burger. AND a burger, fries, and 44 oz drink is around $6 hard to beat that!

I'll also tear up a double meat double cheese Whataburger with jalapeno and bacon. It's not "the best" but it just reminds me of TX.

Arnolds in amarillo, homemade buns, they will even make one that will feed 8-10 people, Patty is size of 3 large pizzas. get there before one because they sell out everyday.

I used to really enjoy the "Death Burger" from Bullfrogs in Nacogdoches. I haven't been there in years, so I don't know if they even still serve it but it used to be my favorite.
