Noisy- You have wrong the arrows.
Losing vanes- You need a lesson on fletching.
Less accurate- You need to practice not grabbing you bow when you shoot.
Wrinkled vanes- You have the wrong vanes.

I used both, went to the drop away. took me a few days of practice to get use to the drop away. but I was happy with the WB but I am enjoying the new dropa way as well... its all shooters choice... (Good Luck)

WB's ARE loud when you draw. The type of arrow only affects how loud........but any kind of arrow will make more noise in any WB than it would in a drop-away rest with moleskin or felt on the arm.

On a separate note outside of this conversation, have you guys noticed how there are an awful lot of experts on this forum who haven't been bowhunting for more than a few years and yet they speak with the utmost authority????

I have a WB on one of my bows, and it's fine except on those ultra calm mornings when you can hear a pin drop. No matter what your arrow will always make a tiny bit of noise against the whiskers when you draw. Otherwise, accuracy is great, and it does a great job of holding the arrow in place. I did have it freeze up on me one cold, wet morning while sitting out exposed in a tripod but that was my fault. Once I got some silicon spray/lube that hasn't happened again.

Yup same here, its not that the WB is all that bad its just the drop away rest are so much better IMO.
                I shoot the QAD pro.

I've never heard of someone who shot a WB went to a dropaway and then went back to a WB.

Went from the WB to the QAD Ultra rest HD. To be honest, I can't tell much difference. I do seem to be a little more consistent with the QAD in terms of accuracy. My entire set up is awfully quiet. I think it is mostly personal preference. I just like to try new things. Nothing wrong with the WB in my opinion....

I like mine. I haven't had to adjust it or worry sbout it being out of adjustment at all. I shot a G5 Expert II last year and had a few problems with it so I put the Bisquit back on. I haven't killed anything with my bow yet but I do take the advice from guys on this board that have numerous kills using it.

WB are about the most reliable rest out there. If I've learned anything in my 10 yrs bow hunting is that if it ain't broke then don't fix it.It's all about personal preference. If you like it then stick with it.. That being said I did switch to a rip cord code red. The WB does have a reputation for rating vanes but usually do to shooting a lot. If you fletch your own that will solve that issue, and place a dab of glue on the front part of the vane..I could hear my arrow draw across but it never spooked an animal.
