Whisker Biscuit Vs. Other Arrow Rest

I currently have a whisker Bisquit on my rig, but I was wondering if there is another arrow rest that is better? I see lots of people using drop away...any validity to using those? Thanks for yalls help.

I went from a whisker biscuit to a nap 360 this year. It still holds the arrow in place but is quieter and little to no vane interference. I like simple for less malfunctions in the field, the wb and the 360 are both simple.

Went from a WB to a Ripcord and back to a WB. Too much to mess with and worry about for me.

I went from a WB to a Trophey Taker a couple of years ago. Got tired of loosing vanes and felt like the TT was quieter.

I have WBs on my hunting bows and I really like the simplicity of them, but I am trying out a NAP 360 on a Hoyt Seven37. So far, I am pleased. It is quieter than my WBs, and does a great job holding the arrow in any position. I am shooting both Blazers and 1.5" Fusions with a lot of helical (using an EZ Fletch Mini to mount them.) So far, I have not gotten any indication of vane contact, on either the plastic center rest or support brushes. I only have about 300 shots on it, so I am waiting to see how it holds up after I have about 1000 shots on it. Several archers have previously complained that the older versions of the 360 did not hold up very well, and said the plastic center rest wore out quickly, and that the brushes also got boogered up pretty quickly. I imagine some of that was brought on by improper setup; i.e. nock point too high, poor cam sync that causes a lot of nock travel, and improper center shot. Time will tell, but I like mine so far.

W.B.'s are the deers best friend. Noisy, noisy, noisy.

WBs are less accurate than dropaways also based on the fact that more arrow contact equals less accuracy.

I LOVE my WB. I dont have and haven't had any issues with vanes being deformed or ripped off and the noise is all but non existent. They are simple worry free and I loose a whole 2ft per second on my arrows and at 315fps that im shooting now whats 2fps. WB is a great rest and simple and no problems yet

I had a WB on my bow from the beginning till last week. I had been hearing a noise in my bow when I shot. I got a Ripcord Code Red installed and the noise is completely gone now.

Noisy, fletching wrecker, less accurate, --sums it up.
but in the end its a matter of choice and what you are willing to give up for simplicity.

I never had any trouble with the WB I had, and my nephew is now using it with no problems. That said, when I went to a QAD, my groups tightened up DRAMATICLY.

I've been shooting a WB for three years. I have yet to lose any vanes (Blazers) and I can hit a one inch target at 20 yards. I have not had any deer jump the string yet.

The WB is certainly as good as any other rest within my ability. It has never failed or needed to be adjusted once the arrow was tuned.

I have used a WB and changed to a fall away because the deer would always hear me draw. I have used trophy taker shaky hunter and it is a great rest. I have a rip- cord on my new bow, and so far so good.

My son and I have been using WB's for a while, and after trying several other rest, we really like the simplicity and reliablility of the WB's...I guess its the KISS method. They are plenty accurate on our Bows at normal hunting ranges 0-40 yards. Some folks say they are noisy? That has never been an issue with us.

The WB worked fine with me but I like my QAD Ultra Rest Pro more. The sound when drawing with the WB was deafening in the quiet woods but I don't hear my arrow slide over the felt lining on my QAD. My vanes last indefinitely now compared to the periodic damage with the WB. I don't notice any difference in accuracy or speed and the vane issue was minor but I love the difference in sound.
