First off thanks for all the kind words and support for my first bow buck Saturday morning. I am thinking about going in today to have the smile surgically removed from my face!
Second, I bought a new Toy Hauler this year (see pics below). Took it to the ranch Friday, set up and went to Rosa's in Killeen for a pre-hunt Mexican dinner (not the best idea by the way if you plan on being on-stand very long!). Returned to camp to find I had no a/c power and a strong smell of ozone
. Did a ton of troubleshooting...wasn't at the pole, the plug, in the wire to the camper, the camper breaker box, etc. Finally gave up and went to bed, thankfully it was cool enough that we didn't need air conditioning.
After Saturday morning's (very successful
) hunt I called my camper guy and described the problem. He instructed me to check behind a panel in the front for something called a transfer box. Check the picture below
. This is a BRAND NEW Toy Hauler I bought this past February. VERY lucky the thing didn't catch fire and burn to the ground. Took it to dealer yesterday, called Keystone and work is underway. Not sure how you will use this information/warning but wanted to pass it along.
