    I was one of the first to order. havent gotten an e-mail, but when I log into their site it states cancled. Oh well. they havent credited my account yet

      I am hoping they dont call me today, they dont have my email. I ordered 2 orders. first had 12 jackets and 2nd had 5. Man this would be sweet if I got mine

                I checked Cabelas web site to track my order and it said CANCELLED. But still have not recieved a email stating its cancelled. Oh well, maybe next time. Time to head to the Lease.

                  They probably have a drop down menu that gives them certian choices for a default reason when canceling an order. I am sure "we messed up" wasnt a choice.

                      Cabela's called me on my cell phone this morning to personally thank me for not trying to order a hundred of these.

                      They also asked that I pass along their sincere apologies for any inconvenience that any of you may have suffered.

                      They have set up office in twelve major cities and staffed counselors to help you deal with your grieving process.

                      hope you all make it to the lease and are able to hunt this weekend with this weighing so heavy on your minds.....

                            Update: I just got off the phone with the customer service department. No I wasn't rude and no there were no raised voices and no I didn't demand anything.

                            I asked about the "changed mind" reason and she said they had filed a complaint and were looking to get a "pricing error" message instead of the "changed mind". Hopefully they will get this done to avoid any confusion or anger in the future.

                            I then asked her about some people getting shipping emails and she said that they were working to make sure all orders were canceled; even those that said it was going to be shipped. She also said if you got a backorder message that those were going to be canceled also. I guess it's possible that some of the jackets are already on a truck and a very small percentage may get their jacket. She even mentioned trying to recall a sent package to get the jackets back. She said $2.99 for a $69.99 jacket was too big of a hit for them to take.

                            The lady I spoke with was very nice and helpful. She did offer the jacket for $44 and free shipping but I don't need a jacket that bad. If any of y'all are interested in the jacket at that price you may want to give them a call.

                              It's still crappy business any way you look at it. But not a big deal, I have plenty of jackets, I was just going to hand them out at the homeless shelter just in time for winter.
