Cabelas bargain cave had jackets for $2.99 yesterday and there was a frenzy. Apparently it was a mistake and Cabelas cancelled some of the orders.

ONCE AGAIN FOLKS keep this clean with information only.

i doubt real serious that it was a mistake....they do that all the time

the problem is it gets posted on a couple websites and their system cant keep up with the number of orders they get and it sells more items than they have

I got an email this am that says mine is on backorder, but they didn't cancel it. I did two seperate orders and got the same email for both, But I ordered something else as well so maybe they'll be nice to me!! Here's hoping.

Yeah...I kind of figured that would happen...like I said yesterday...I've had about a 50% success rate with it...the first time they fulfilled my order the second time they outright cancelled it...if the volume doesn't go to crazy usually they'll make good on their mistake but as soon as 1000 people order 10000 of whatever it is, they just cut their losses and figure it's cheaper to irritate the customer...
