I'm confused by this. If you have a license to purchase the rup's, why do you have no knowledge on the chemicals....??? scares me a little dude to be honest with you

Weed-B-Gone will do the trick on broadleaf weds. Atrazine w/ MSMA for grasses (dallis, nut grass, johnson grass, etc.). BE SURE TO USE THE ATRAZINE PER THE INSTRUCTIONS.

He has a pesticide...doesn't mention herbicide, however it appears he doesn't mind using that on his lawn.

Any 2-4-D based product will work. The RTU are dilute and don't work very well. Your Burmuda grass is hard to kill with even RoundUp, so any selective herbicide will be fine on Bermuda. St Augustine can be burned with 2-4-D.

The Highway Department sprays RoundUp on Bermuda and calls it a "Bermuda Release" ... it is just a diluted down percentage that will kill other things and slightly stun the Bermuda.

Use Three-Way. Good stuff!! Make sure you mix a sticker product it is as well. MSMA is no longer available. Thanks to the EPA. You can use it up until Jan 1st. Only golf courses and right of way use after that. Go figure!!!!

Thanks for the advice I'll look into them I figured like pesticides the stuff at lowes and home depot wouldn't work to well yah Bermuda is tough so I'm not to concerned with killing it but I want to make sure I can kill a wide variety of weeds I have several
Crabgrass I think some nutsedge prostrate spurge and one looks similar to crowfootgrass it is a new home and I am sure these came in on the sod already it has been down 6 months now and I feel it is safe to apply herbs to it

I just found out yesterday that MSMA is being taken off the market. That SUCKS! It's the only thing that seems to work on the dallis grass in my bermuda yard. Can you still buy it until January? If so, I'm going to stock up.

DING! DING! DING! It took me several years after obtaining my license before I really started to understand which chemicals to use and at what times.

As stated before, I'd just buy a generic 2,4-d from the supply store and spot spray on broadleafs, then spot spray with an MSMA product for the crabgrass and grassy weeds. At this time of year I recommend starting with the lowest application rate to avoid burning the grass. Right now I'm having to make 2 applications to kill most of the weeds.

pesticide is a broad category to define chemicals to treat non-desirable plants and animals (bugs, too.) herbicides are specific to plants. you have a pesticide license that allows you to use restricted use herbicides.

the key to weed control is to first identify your weeds, then your desirable grasses. 2-4 D won't do crap to nut grass or bahia grass. and, for most summer weeds, now it is too late to spray.

are these weeds around your house? if so, agriculture concentration of 2-4 D is not recommended for residental areas. it will kill ormentantal trees.
