Coffee with you in your pop up / stand?

I put a lot of energy into making sure I am scent free when hunting. Problem is that I really like to have coffee with me in the blind but coffee smells very strong. Do you think its ok to have coffee with you when you are only 20 or so yards away from your feeder or whatever you hunt? Just curious to hear some opinions on this. Thanks.

actually coffee gives off a very strong odor as your likely to get busted , especially if upwind.

I suggest keeping coffee in a thermos and drinking from the thermos as needed. Keep closed at all times to minimize strange scent which will alert deer

I would not take it with me. I drink mine before. Rifle hunting, yeah I would do that maybe but not bow hunting at 20 yds.

If they can smell your coffe, they can smell you. It is virtually impossible to completely eliminate human scent no matter what you do. Find you some dry cow dung, put it in a can and set it outside right underneath your shooting window and lit it to cover your scent going out the window. They use dried dung in Africa all the time to help cover scent. heck, smoking your clothes is becoming a way to cover your scent and help eliminate bacteria that causes body odor.

Im not going to lie on this one! We always have coffee in the blind and what not! Never has seemed to bother any of the animals.... Did get busted once in the pop up last year because my BIL hit the top of the pop up trying to draw.. I am not worried about it this year as the bow will be lucky to come out of the case. :/

I use it in popups every morning I'm there. The lip on the mug stays closed until I take a drink, then it closes. Nothing to smell, except "coffee breath".

I do not take coffee with me to the stand. The coffee runs straight through me!

Some things are worth the risk. Coffee is one of them. I keep mine in a thermos.

Only problem I have is after I drink coffee, I'm gonna have to pee or worse take a crap, and they are deff. gonna smell that!!

I drink my coffe way before I get to the stand because that is what gets my bowels to moving good.

I don't take coffee with me. Smell is way too strong. I do take a thermos when duck hunting, but just not deer hunting. Stepping in cow dung always seems to work good.
