Coffee with you in your pop up / stand?

Only problem I have is after I drink coffee, I'm gonna have to pee or worse take a crap, and they are deff. gonna smell that!!

I do it all the time from rifle box blinds but I'm able to keep the window closed until ready to shoot and even have a shelf to sit it on. I'd be nervous to keep that strong smelling stuff in a pop-up. No way I could handle a travel mug in a tree stand.

I get up earlier than anyone at my lease and start drinking coffee- strong coffee. That way I can get the ol' plumbing jumpstarted and make my morning "trip to the woods" before I shower and head to the blind. I'm fairly wired at that point so I don't take coffee to the blind.

Everytime you go to your blind to check feeder or camera, take some grinds with you and sprinkle them on the ground. Not the best time to start it now, but over time it will desensitize them to it. Back when I used to chew, I would sprinkle snuff on the ground starting early in the season and they got used to it. I called it my copenhagen cover scent

If they can smell your coffe, they can smell you. It is virtually impossible to completely eliminate human scent no matter what you do. Find you some dry cow dung, put it in a can and set it outside right underneath your shooting window and lit it to cover your scent going out the window. They use dried dung in Africa all the time to help cover scent. heck, smoking your clothes is becoming a way to cover your scent and help eliminate bacteria that causes body odor.

ditto on the dung!!! I thought I was the only one that noticed them doing that. They actually piled it outside the shooting windows. Those guys swear by it. I can't go to the blind in the winter mornings without a thermos of coffee. Just my ritual. But... It's a pop top thAt I sip and seal up. No problems so far.

I've done it before and was busted. Also after drinking coffee at camp it's a good idea to brush your teeth before you go out. I was running late one morning and didn't brush and I was busted repeatedly. Ahh the lessons we learn.

Once and a while I will take coffee with me to the blind, usually I try to drink a cup before I go out to the stand. Like others said the main problem with coffee is having to take a leak after drinking a lot of it.

I keep the buck bomb and acorn bomb in my pop up and spray every now and again to hide any odors. Works great for me. I just spray it through the shoot through mesh.

i'm thinking that unless you are brushing with plain baking soda, you will just spook them with your minty fresh breath rather than your coffee breath.

I have a battery powered espresso maker in my stand. Burr grinder makes a little noise but really no big deal.
