I have only retired 2 and those are robinhooded arrows. I plan to retire arrows for my first bow kill and first buck with an arrow. After that I will retire and display any arrow on a buck because I think it looks cool when you have the arrow hanging in the horns of a rack.
i have about 30 retired, every kill where the arrow was recovered,, i put a small tag with the events and usually put a picture with them,,, can afford to mount that many animals,,,, 1 kill per arrow
a couple of robinhoods and then the arrow I took an Illinois buck and a Texas bobcat with. It was needing some repairs to the fletchings so I just retired it to the man cave.
Not me I try to see how many deer or hogs I can kill with one around. So far I had one that I killed 2 bucks,1doe, 2 hogs. Then it broke on the last hog.Hell I loose enought shooting pop up in years past.
Retired three so far. Two the first day that I got my BowTech General over at Bow Zone had a robin hood in the first group after sighting it in and then two months later retire theone that I got my first deer with a bow.
