Last year I had a big 'un drop down from a door I opened. It barely missed my wrist, I swear I felt it brush up against me as it was falling.

have killed a lot this year. One in the handle bar opening of an extra kids bike that gets used occasionally. They are really bad this year around the farm. Everything I turn over has one it seams. Their webs is unique so when you see it or feel one, you know one is around.

Call me weird , but I think those are the most beautiful spiders around. We have a big one that lives in our water meeter out front. "Every time I mow the lawn have to take a peak at her"

I agree Howard. At our place in Vernon I have killed over 30 huge ( I mean really really big) black widows around my camper. I even had one crawl up my arm when I went tot start my generator before she got the big squish. Last time I was there I sprayed everything down with bug killer. I sure hope it killed the females and any off spring.

Those things are about the only thing that gives me chills! lol...that pic alone does it. I have killed a few around my back yard which is near my daughters swing set and is no bueno. Also have been killing them around the lease A LOT this year...all over around our campers. I grabbed my varmit cage out of the camper last trip and one was in it...INSIDE...!!!
