Looks like I'll be mailing my boots to your guy, Heath. The only shop I could find to do the work here wanted $85 to try to stretch them and $350 to do what your guy did!

That looks great, and no, I doubt very seriously that anyone could get a butcher knife through that tanned leather, much less a couple of small fangs from a CoralHeadedRattleMoccasin even if he has a bad temper.

Not being critical Heath, but why did you not have the boot maker go ahead and add a zipper while he was in there? Man, those are handier than a pocket on a shirt.

I might have to send Matt up there to go grab me a pair for that price. He moves north in two weeks!

Man, they sure are handy when you're pulling them on and off though. You'll be more likely to put them on if they are easy to get on and off. Snakes never bite you when they are supposed to, they bite you when they aren't supposed to, so the more you wear the snake boots, the less likely you are to get bit!

They are $129 at the outlet but I'd still have to add the extra space like Heath did here above.
