Right behind the shoulder where the heart and lungs live.

Froghunter,
Your set up should be more than ample for blowing through a whitetail. But like others asked, why through the shoulder?

Thanks for all the info! I dont intend to aim for bone. I just need to learn the limitations of my new "super weapon". I have shot trad bows for a long time and i have no idea what a compound is capable of doing. I would much rather learn through the TBH brotherhood than to learn through lost game. If my bow will shoot through bone than i assume that it will go through the hide shield of a pig as well. Speaking of pork chops is a skull shot on a pig a bad idea? Thanks for all the help.

Before every season we can all use a good refresher on whitetail anatomy.

I'd say with a cut-on-contact blade like a Magnus 2-blade, unless you get it stuck directly in a bone you'll blow right through it. It might not be a complete pass through. You're aiming too high if you're up there, lower behind the leg in the pocket.
BTW, I've had pass-throughs on deer and pigs with a 54# Red Wing Hunter, 2 blade Magnus and about 175 fps with the wind blwoing behind me.
Don't ever think about KE again- bows kill by exsanguination (bleeding) and bullets by destroying tissue by transferring energy so KE is important.
