What no one has said yet, unless I missed it is Perry is for sure going to win. I am a die hard republican, but I can't stand Perry. The TTC is a joke. Since he is gonnna win I am going to vote against him as a protest vote. I just don't know who for yet???? Kinky---- Why the hell not???? So he's an anti-hunter---- he can't change hunting in this great state. Come on what could he do? NOTHING! Strayhorn--- I like her, but she has broken promises that got her elected before. Bottom line--- I don't know what to do. HELP!!!

I also don't like the corridor, especially as the port of entry and the only check as far as I have been told is in Kansas.
I am not crazy about any of the candidates, and the governor has not seen fit to increase my cost of living at all in the last six years.
That being said: I am afraid that I am still going to have to vote for him as there is no other person in the race that is in any way fit to sit in the governors chair.
I guess I had rather have a do nothing governor, than one who would screw things up worse than they are.
It just goes to show that anyone can be governor;, even someone from a small place like Paint Creek, Texas.Comment

Yep...he forced the State Auditor to retire and appointed his own guy as State Auditor when they were auditing a contract company one of his financial supporters was involved in. That cost the residents of Texas MILLIONS! Each year!!!!The gov appoints the decision makers at TPWD.Comment

Howard, Im with you, my measly 50 acres that I built my dream house on two years ago is also in one of the corridor rts. Thats the only place I have to hunt and it is also family land. I will never be able to replace it, and the thought of losing it makes me sick. I dont think anybody has the right to take private family land. I also voted for Perry before, but no more. Thats my 2 cents.Comment

I have not been fond of Perry, I'm not doing a grandma, & although I can be Kinky I dont need it in office. I wore my I.B.E.W. shirt proudly when I walked in yesterday to cast my vote.

If Perry was the ONLY person in the race, I would still NOT VOTE FOR HIM!!!
It's a lesser of two evils (actually three evils, as I don't see Friedman as an actual choice), so between Grandma, Perry, and Bell, I am going to vote for Chris Bell.
