All this talk about Mexico had me going back through some videos... Texasduklr and I were hunting a particular Double Fork 8pt when this 10 showed up and hung out at 6-15yards eating corn! I LOVE MEXICO

To take my thoughts away form all the Cartel murders and such, I'll be posting up some video footage captured in Old Mexico... some have been posted before but I think you guys will enjoy seeing them again! Most are within rock throwing distance

Great deer with a solid frame. If this video is late in the year I might push him to 5.5. When in doubt pass ...... a few more of his genes won't hurt your herd either.

When was the first video shot? With all the loose skin on his brisket and his big head, I wouldn't be surprised if he was 5 in the video.

Our Mexico deer are hard to judge in my opinion... We are never exactly positive unless we know the deer from several years back! Everyone thought crooked brow was 4.5 but we knew him and he was 5.5 by teeth! Mikes 177 was WAY bigger bodied than crooked brow but he was 4.5 on one side and 5.5 on the other they are hard to age on the hoof from 4.5-5.5 in my opinion. The two different body types really throw you off too! This buck is the big body type! Crooked brow was the little body!

Crooked brow(167) is the buck in the background of the 2nd video... if you didnt know, what would you have guessed his age?

Crooked brow looked 4.5 to me in the video. I would guess that ten in the first video should die this season. 5.5 for sure this year if not 6.5. Those are some great deer with awesome close up footage!
