It's killing me that we have to have this conversation in Texas. I travel to New York and New Jersey a lot and they have special deer resistant plants, trees, electronic devices etc, etc, etc.

There is an easier way! Or, at least there was.

None of that stuff works with my urban deer. The best thing is to just plant stuff they don't like to eat. Even then, in a drought all bets are off.

Some things I have found that they will generally leave alone...

This is first year I have had problems with deer eating things in my yard. My peaches they are comming between where my catahoulas are tied and my house to eat my peaches off the trees..............just two barren does they are marked with targets on them ........Andy

One line of electric wire with aluminum foil wrapped about every 20 feet. Put a glob of good creamy peanut butter on the foil. deer love peanut butter and cannot resist a lick. have been keeping deer out of my garden now for 8 years

Irish Spring soap works pretty good. drill a hole in a bar and hang it in the peach trees...
