I tried the chips on several times and they just didn't fit my feet... I put the Justins on and I was at home from the get go, no need to break them in... My wife wears the chips and she has never had any issues with comfort!!!

snakeboots.com will have most all the major brands on their site and they are fair priced!!!

I use boots myself. I used to wear Chippewa, but they never fit me very well. Tried Rocky and hated them. Then I tried the Danner and was in happy-feet heaven. They are expensive at around $200, but well worth it if you do a lot of walking.

Danner Covey Sharptail GTX's are hard to beat. I wear them about 9 months out of the year and they are the first snake boot to last me three hunting seasons.

I'm also looking at the Rocky pull on's they came out with but on clue to they're comfort or toughness

Red Heads have served me very well over the past few years.

Chaps are good on moist morning to keep the water off of your pant legs but snake boots are alot more comfortable! I have some lace up Rocky and theyre OK!!!

I'm a Danner fan, but everybodys feet are different.

If your Danner's are the Pronghorn model snake boots, that is all you need.

I also have a pair of Justin snake boots and while I love them, they are not ideal for long treks, just not as comfortable as the Danner.
