    What Fishing Line to Use?

I am currently and have been for some time using 12LB. P-Line in moss green. I am however looking to possibly switch. I fish from Rockport to Baffin mainly. Looking to see what fellow TBHers spool there favorite reel with?

I use 30# firewire with a 30"+/- 20# flourocarbon leader. 8' medium fast Kistler rod. I can feel those trout THINKING about tapping the bait.

I used to use P line until I found SUfix. It's the cats meow buddy. Smoother and casts better than P line and more durable as well. Try it. You won't even touch P line again.

I am with Javlin. depends on the situation and weather plays a big part in it also. i like to use spiderwire 30 lbs test if its a calm day. Triline 15 lbs. test for windy days.

I've always used berkley big game 10 12 15 lbs depending on what kind of fishing I'm doing. I've always wanted to try some braided line, just never have. There is so any types of line and color of line out there. I'm sure certain kinds r best for certain lures etc. Kind of like pickin a broadhead and arrow. If it flies and is sharp it'll kill! If your line is strong and holds a lure it'll catch!

I'm really surprised to see everyone who uses Suffix. I tried it and hated it. Everytime I caught a fish or snagged on something, the next cast was hung up. It's like it bound up on the spool everytime I put tension on it.

I've always used Big Game. Never had any problems with it.
