No idea how sharp that broadhead is either, like someone else mentioned, a Rage 3 blade or Trophy Ridge Sidewinder would've had better penetration, especially if he'd been about 6 inches lower.

I have shot pigs with a 45-70 and never found the thing. Almost anything will kill a big hog if you place the shot well.

The shield use to scare me years ago but with bows now it's no big deal. I have blown through many a boars shield up to 300#. Here is one that was about 200# and the rage three blade did it's job.
