    thx for letting us know brother

    back in the mid 90's Hoyt compound bows had 3 different cams

    - master ... 65% LO
    - command ... 60% LO
    - advance ... 80% LO

    ty , i bet your bow is around 46" A2A , with a 8" brace height

    the Superstar had either FastFlight or Supreme limbs

    those old Hoyt SS bows were dot killers and super accurate !!

      I'll measure the A-A when I get home this evening but I think it is shorter than 46". I may be suprised when I get home at long it ends up being. My wife thinks that this (picture my hands about 3" apart) is 6"!

      How do you measure brace height? I understand basically what brace height is but I am not sure where on the riser you measure to from the string.

I bought it in early 1995. It was anodized camo, though, not dipped. It is probably at my cousin's house as I let him use it to start bowhunting years ago. I need to get it back.

          You can see it in this video from 1999.

          That's it! That was the predecesor to one of my favorites, the "Oasis".

            According to this fella I have:

            Riser=1994 Superstar
            Limbs=Fast Flight
            Cams=Command Cams

            He said the riser was only offered in a Safari Brown color, never in anodized camo.

            So I suppose Ken Witt was correct, this is a one-off Hoyt. At least the riser anyway!

            I'd say Cajun Blake had most of this figured out.
            I would bet my lunch money he is mistaken on whether or not they offered that riser in anodized finish. It appears to me that there are at least 3 pics of that riser with anodized finish on this thread. I need to get my hands on my old bow.

              Delete all known pics and descriptions of any other similarly camoed Superstar riser.

              I want this thing to be worth a million bucks one day!
