Welcome. 41 years later I'm still trying to figure it out
I'm an NAA Level 1 (basic) instructor and teach newbies at the archery range every month. I'd really suggest that you find somebody who teaches archery lessons, and take a couple or more to learn to shoot correctly the first time, so you don't have to un-learn bad habits and shooting form. Local archery pro shop is a great place to ask. Teaching and doing are 2 different things, there are some people who can do both, and some that can do 1 and not the other. Shooting well does not mean somebody can teach another to shoot well I've seen.

I wish you guys would come up for it. We have plenty of room if you want to stay here. One of our parents will probably come up that weekend to watch Kaycie since it would be quite a long day for her. It's literally right behind our house, so just let me know if you want to!Comment
