It happened to me with a 3/16"s meta peep twice! Once with my DXT and once with my Aigil SS. I went back to Jim Fletcher and now I use specialty archery. I don't see myself using anything besides my Specialty Archery anytime soon. They are too customizable and seem to be very durable.

I work at G5 Outdoors. We have found some of the peeps to have come out of round on some of the new high enegry bows. We have changed the peeps slighty to insure that they do not come out of round. If any one has a issue please contact your local dealer or g5 and we will help resoulve this issue.

P.S. G5 emailed you back this morning.

had my g5 meta 1/4" go oval on me after about 3 months.

went to a g5 meta 3/16" with no problems, but I still felt unsure about them

now I'm shooting the fletcher 3/16" with no problems from it either.

I shot fletcher 3/16" before g5 and now I switched back out of confidence.

I put a 1/4 G5 meta peep on my sons Diamond Razor Edge on March 22, a day before BT post this thread. He has loved and I would note he is only pulling 43lbs. Today during the Hood Bowhunters 900 Tournament after about 150 arrows his Meta peep went OVAL on him . He has used it for a month and 1/2 with no problems and I thought the only problem was the power bows but like I said he is pulling 43lbs. I bought the Meta peep from Academy so I took it back to Academy and they did swap me for the 3/16.
My son says he would have got first place if that sight would not turned into an egg but instead he had to settle for second haha I am proud of him he just started shooting in Feb and is already showing some promise and is doing real good

I had the G5 meta peep 3/16" on my 80lb Omen and it squished and sliced thru the string. Same thing happened with the new Titan Peep. I'm getting tired of replacing strings I'm going to try the RAD peep. Looks pretty strong.

I had one on my Monster XLR8 and it began to cut my string to therefore I had it replaced, but I had to get a new string because it had cut it so bad.

I do like G5 and their products, but I won't be using one of their peeps again. Replacing strings isn't cheap.

                            incidentally they've been happy to install the ones I bought elsewhere . . . . . for a fee.

I have one on my admiral and one on my z7 without a problem. The issue is with the larger diameter peep and the material it is made of.
scott and i pulled a 1/4" meta out of my outback that was no more than 6 months old and it was anything but round. i have a 3/16" that has a lot more wall thickness and seems more robust dueto less material being removed. we'll see how it works.
