My personal favorite is the String Splitter, have been using the "Mini" since they were introduced. By far the best peep I have ever used. I highly recommend the Mini for any situation, even the night hunting of hogs.

Been using the G5 3/16 on a 70 lb. DXT for a couple of strings and no issue, but it's not a Monster either.

now on new Z7 i have 3/16 tru peep..so far so good, but i still keep the thought of gettin another string splitter in the back of my mind (it was great for killing hogs at night!!!!)

I have seen other g5 peeps oval.
I am using a 1/4 inch RAD peep and it is one of, if not the smoothest machined peep I've seen, with no ovaling problems.(Aluminum)
I like the String Splitter also, but it can get finicky on rotation.

LOL, yeah that should do it.

Has anyone posted on the Mathews forum this question? With the marketing giant it has become, they will invent something that will work only with this bow!

Dad had one on this Tribute and at only 62 pounds his collapsed. G5 replaced it for him but he is not shooting it because of that issue.

That being said I have used them on my Elites since 2007 with ZERO issues.
Same here. I have not had any issues with my G5's in my Elites and I pull 70 pounds. But thanks for the heads up. I will be going back to check them when I get off shift in the morning.

I've shot the G5 1/4" on two bows now without issue but it's been in the back of my mind.

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a Destroyer 340 and think I'll try the sting splitter.

                            Hey Guys,
I work at G5 Outdoors. We have found some of the peeps to have come out of round on some of the new high enegry bows. We have changed the peeps slighty to insure that they do not come out of round. If any one has a issue please contact your local dealer or g5 and we will help resoulve this issue.

P.S. G5 emailed you back this morning.

I have used the 3/16 and 1/4 G5 peeps for years...with zero problems.

I don't think the problem is with the G5 peep but that you use a Mathews J/K!!!!!

I've used them for years on my bows with no problems. I just recently put an orange peep from vapor trail on my bow but still undecided on it. Lets a little too much light through when standing in full sun but not enough to affect my shot. Just something to either get used to or replace.
